Microsoft Outlook 2002/2003/XP

 

Outlook 2002 and 2003 are part of the Microsoft Office XP  group of programs.  To set up your account follow the steps below:

Open Outlook 2002/2003 and go to "Tools" --> "Email Accounts":

 

Select "Add a new e-mail account" and click "Next":

 

Select "POP3" and click "Next":

 

Enter your name, email address and server settings using the example below as a guide.
Then, click "Next":

 

Click on "More Settings":

 

Select the tab labeled "Outgoing Server" and select the box labeled "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication":

 

Select the tab labeled "Advanced" and change the ougoing server (SMTP) port to 587. When you are done, click "OK":

 

Click "Next" on the "E-mail Accounts" window:

 

Click "Finish" to complete the account creation wizard:
